Our thorough translation process of the scriptures and other teaching materials requires a team of people, equipment, and the financial partnership of others.  Your gifts are appreciated, and help us continue the work of directing 3 million people of Malawi toward God's kingdom.

Along with one-time gifts please consider making a monthly recurring committment.  Your regular gifts provide constancy to our work and help us plan for the future.

As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth...so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.  Isaiah 55:10-11

Our Bible translation work follows a methodical and thorough process --

  1. Preparation - A book of the Bible is selected based on the need for specific scriptures, and requests of local believers

  2. Initial Study - Initial book study by a translator to prepare for translation

  3. Translation of the book

  4. Team Review - Review of the book by all 4 translators, and appropriate corrections entered

  5. Reviewers Check - Book checked by trained "Reviewers" for accuracy, clarity & naturalness, appropriate corrections entered by translators

  6. Field Testing - Book shared with at least 30 villages spread over a large area to receive feedback on clarity, and naturalness.  Appropriate corrections are then entered by translators

  7. Consultant Check - Book checked by a translation consultant (from a world class translation organization) for accuracy, and appropriate corrections made

  8. Final Review - Translation team checks the book, and makes final corrections.  We average 7 verses an hour for this in-depth scrutiny.

  9. Type Setting and Publication
